I have been wondering to myself and asking questions about the fact that ,how would I coup or live if there wasn't any internet today. That's a very rhetorical question that I often ask which keeps me wondering .how ever i am fully convinced about weather I can live without internet considering what I do for a leaving .
My answer is yet to come but first,I will like to share with you abit on how the internet supports me with my career
In my school,everything we do we have to access the internet,why do i say so?during lectures in class,we do ultimate researches while in class using search engines like opera mini to access internet.. that's because the teacher asked us questions in class that are not our notes or that he hasn't even taught us.. he himself then advices us to Google search it and tell him the answer... now what am i suppose to do if was no internet.how would I fit in.that is just a minor.
In our school now we study through whatsapp groups created by us.while at home,I get the chance to ask a question from a teacher in the group without necessarily being with him in thesame place.the day and night is really short for since when it comes to my career... most of my study is self study .. making the internet my ultimate teacher.. I turn to understand my course more when I access YouTube videos with teachers teaching my subject,when I get pdf files from the internet containing notes that are being taught to me in school.i read ahead of the syllables that my lecturer has to cover using the internet...
The internet has become like a part of me.like we are related by blood, as a student,in our school we all have a student's e-mail given to us by the school where we submit assignments online while from home.i wonder how it would look like for me as a student to study so well with the absence of the internet!It's not just all about being a student because ,eventhough I am student,I still do part time music studio production and this means that without the internet ,many people will not be able to hear my works.
Why?
This is because the shares will be slow... how rampant or fast will my instrumental music go with the absence of social media like Facebook,YouTube,Instagram,Twitter, and internet as a whole. It would be really slow to a level that pulls us back to like the discovery of man perhaps. I need to update my fans frequently by dropping new hit instrumentals all the time and oftenly. How would I do that with the absence of internet!
For a young and ambitious student like me,the internet is my best friend and best advisor.. it is rare for a day to pass without me accessing the internet since that's where I do most of my studies...
For me to answer this question,I will say "NO"
I can't leave without the internet. I need the internet always in my daily life and in my carreer
