I had the pleasure of being able to ask him some questions, similar to my previous interview with @ReggaeMuffin (which can be read here).
@FatPandaDesign- "Neoxian - that's a pretty strange name you've got there pal. How the hell did you come up with it? Was it inspired by anything in particular?"

The short answer is that I'm into cyberpunk. Futeristic cities in cyberpunk settings often have names like Neo-Tokyo and Neo-Seoul. When thinking of a creative project I came up with the name Neo-Xian. It was cool, so I used it as my handle here. "
@FatPandaDesign - "Since I've met you in June, I've known you as the most notorious Loan Shark in all of the SteemLand. What made you choose this profession? Do you think you were a banker in a past life? Did you purposely trick the tooth fairy with fake teeth to stack up those extra quarters as a kid?"
@Neoxian - "Hey I never tricked the tooth fairy, all my teeth are real, but she was falling behind so I cut a deal to loan her some extra teeth so she could make the night's quota. It was deals like this that helped me build up the capital to be the shark you know today.

@Neoxian - "If money didn't exist, I'd have to invent it. I'd probably be selling the secret of fire for beads and animals skins, and try to convince them that those shiny yellow rocks in the river have value."

@Neoxian - "There is stuff outside of Steemit?? Hmm ok, I tend to be a workaholic, but I do enjoy video games. I recently got done playing "Pyre" and I play a bit of Minecraft. Also into virtual reality."

To be successful requires to like what you do, to be passionate with it, to focus on it, to make plans and set targets. Sometimes requires to take risks that most people do not take. I suppose I'll know what happened if I see some breaking news about a break-in at Fort Knox... I've always wondered about the gold myself. Reminds me of one of my favorite lines from my favorite viral video ever:
Even if we never learn that secret, it has been interesting to hear about @neoxian's loan sharking on Steemit. I suppose no matter what era we've been in throughout time, there's always someone who has some sort of loan sharking business. I was surprised to see that the interest rates were so low considering some payday loan companies charge APR rates of over 1000% . Maybe we'll see that eventually, but for now, I think it's a great idea, and I'm glad he's been able to implement it successfully.
I probably won't be partaking in his business, but for now, he can have my witness vote.
Kudos to you, @fatpandadesign for the great interview questions. I can't wait for when you get some of these podcasted for us to listen to, especially with the guests I hear you have lined up.

@Neoxian sounds like an entrepreneur to me. A person that can build something from almost nothing. That is something that i admire.
But one question pops up: did @neoxian ever go back to the same kind of job that the one you quit? I'm having some thoughts about doing the same thing and it would be nice to know some more about how it all went.
