Andy Levine (@andrarchy), the Content Director of Steemit Inc., did a three part interview on CoinCentral, as I learned from one of the channels of our Romanian community discord server. Turns out Andy resteemed this post of @dougpolkcrypto a few days ago, but I missed it then although I follow Andy.
The interview is quite massive, which is probably why it was broken in three parts.
The first part of the interview was published almost a week ago, while the second part was posted on CoinCentral yesterday. Don't worry, you don't need to dig through their site to see the first part, if you missed it, there's a link to it in the second part.
In the first part, Andy explains the difference between Steem and Steemit.com, and introduces other popular Dapps like Dtube, Dlive and Utopian.io.
Then he outlines a few key points where Steem is better than bitcoin and etherium.
In the second part of the interview, Andy talks about Hivemind and SMTs mostly, but also compared bitcoin miners with "central bankers of the Bitcoin industry", and presented Steem as a great alternative to build Dapps on, instead of etherium.
The third part of the interview is introduced like this:
In the final part of my conversation with Andy we touch on what made STEEM an early success, why he’s confident in the future of STEEM and the mechanism that will guarantee this future built into the platform.

I'd advise you to set aside several minutes and read it. This is more exposure for the Steem blockchain inside the crypto world, where there is no more crypto barrier to break.
