Hi Steemit!

I would like to introduce myself, now wearing a Steemit shirt that was given to me by one of my Steemian friend. I take courage to take a picture of myself wearing my Steemit tshirt to prove my identity. I got so hooked to Steemit because of many reasons to be hooked with and I'd like to share it with you.

I am Jamaica (Jamaica Myr Rosal Muit), named @jamaicamuit here. I am a BEED Graduate at University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue,22 and a Professional Teacher. Full Time Scholarship Staff and Part-time Instructor at University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue. :)

Who introduced me to Steemit?

I would personally like to express my sincere gratitude to @jassennessaj for inviting me in this amazing platform. I've been looking for a good blogging site a couple of years now and I found Steemit. At first, I signed up but wasn't approved so I tried again and luckily, my application was approved. I was so lucky for being here, meeting a lot of nice people and be in a community that helps one another.

For others have not known, @jassennessaj and I are co-working scholars before and a good friend of mine. We both study in the same school (University of Cebu), the largest private institution in the Philippines. He always talk about Steemit and how successful it is. I am very thankful to him that he introduced me to this blogging site since I really want to post things that I want and feel. So, I really thank him for introducing Steemit to me :)

What am I bringing to Steemit?

I am into teaching since I am a teacher hahaha :) So, I really want to show or share to the people in this community what a teacher is, how is the work of a teacher, how it feels to be with your students and how overwhelming it is to see student changes for good because of you. I also want to share my experiences being a teacher so that people who wants to be a teacher will be encouraged, to share to my students what is Steemit all about and how can it help their lives.

I am not so good at writing poems, stories, etc. but I really love to write. So, I want to improve and learn many things here at Steemit because I know people here are really very helpful. Hoping to meet new people and work together :)
