Dear reader,
It's been 38 days since I graduated college. Thirty-eight. I received my blah of blah, with a blah in blah and a blah blah blah.
The question is: what have I done with my time?
I have waited. And waited. And waited.
I am currently trapped somewhere I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, as are the wishes of my family. I stay with them out of unconditional love and respect. All I can do to fill my time and my husk of an empty being is by... gaming? Partying? Road tripping? I'll take it.
I bite my nails as I wait for August to come, at which time I have made arrangements to drive over 1200 miles to the state I was born in so that I can establish a life full of independence and pursue my dreams.
A friend introduced me to Steemit, so I figure I'll give it a try. I'm here to regale you with my adventures that I have had and will have post graduation (as well as my gameplay). I'm open to friendly advice and suggestions.

Fair point.. Kinda hard to be depressed if you don't even feel much of anything.. But perhaps the reason you are choosing not to feel much of anything is because you don't want to face the "depression". Just a guess. When I read something like "I'm dead on the inside".. That seems depressing to me. I think most if not all people truly want to be happy.. Even those who claim they don't..

I've completed a policing internship already and was partway through the application process with a department, but withdrew when I realized I don't want to do that right now. Hey, yes, the community is called The Chaos Vanguard I'm usually in the rocket league section but I pay some Rust, Heroes of the Storm, Diablo sometimes LoL and then whatever new featured game comes up, they constantly updateing their teamspeak channels and they have a great management structure. when you join just let me know your TS name and we can have a good discussion about steem over a couple games, I like to play Civ 6 while having deep discussions with people, the turn by turn environment is great for this. haha

we use discord as our backup communication platform but Teamspeak works out better for the different levels of access needed in the management structure so you'd need to install teamspeak to get started, the rest of the instructions on joining are available on the website for The Chaos Vanguard, they do a short "interview" sort of thing to make sure you aren't a troll. :)

I understand what it can mean to have to do something for your family. I am graduating just because my two brothers quit university a while ago and I have 3 exams left! Anyway, welcome on Steemit! I can suggest you to travel to another country before you take any decisions... look up working holiday visas for instance.

Welcome :) It took me over a year after graduating college twice to get into industry I went to school for. That entire year I worked hard on my portfolio in my spare time but it finally paid off. The single best piece of advice I can give is never give up on your dreams and every day do even just one small thing to make it closer to a reality. Good luck!
