Greetings Steemians!
I must admit after trying to get my head around Steemit by watching videos and reading posts what dawned on me is that together with Steemit....We can change the world!
In my mind's eye, I imagined how a down and out person or perhaps a small community of homeless people in the Greater Toronto area could possibly join Steemit. They could take photo's, write blog's or perhaps make some street art and/or blog about street life.
Maybe they will attract some patrons and or locals that want to help and work towards some affordable housing and beyond!
Since one must give back to the Steemit community everyone is lifted up and a gestalt or synchronicity from an altruistic Block Chain that pays for quality content is a dream come true!
Add the fact that there's no censorship and that any Environmentalist, Activist, Songwriter, Comedian, or Blogger can say what he or she wants without fear of their work being blocked or removed!
A SONGUMENTARY
May I introduce you to a song I wrote and performed regarding the Umbrella Revolution in Hong Kong in 2014 played over the excellent drone footage of that protest by Nero Chan and Storyful and the footage from the movie "V" IS For Vendetta by Time Warner called..... DEMOCRACY
