Congenital heart disease to be diagnosed and operated as a child, but LATE, can cause Lung Hypertension now or later as an adult, a condition in which blood pressure in the pulmonary vasculature becomes high.
Examples of conditions of congenital heart abnormalities that, if not corrected, can cause pulmonary hypertension / pulmonary hypertension are Ventricular Septal Defects (VSD), Atrial Septal Defects (ASD), Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), etc.

Lung Hypertension is a serious, fatal condition and there is no cure.
Therefore it is very important for all of us to check our children to the Cardiac Doctor to ensure the absence of congenital Heart Disease is missed diagnosis.

or if you (adults) experience the above symptoms plus shortness of breath when climbing stairs, dizziness, fainting, swollen feet, etc.
If your child or you have been diagnosed CHD and recommended surgery by the doctor, then hasten the surgery, before it is too late, become Lung Hypertension and can not be operated again.
