From Africa To Steemit!!

I have been postponing this introduction for a while now, I've been strolling down the streets of Steemit; reading, learning, laughing and reading again.

I would admit it feels good to be here, it's like a big community where you feel you already know a lot of people even when you haven't met them. It feels weird too - weird, I shall not explain.

I am Oluwadunsin from Nigeria - a realistic fictional writer. I believe I have stories within me, and they threaten to choke me to death if I do not write about them. My quill is the only weapon I've got to change the world the little way I can. I am a creative, a deep thinker and writer - I sojourn deep into my soul and write from there, my stories also have a way of keeping my readers engrossed in them. Writing is what I know how to do best and that is why I'm here, to keep you engrossed while we learn and grow together. I love God, love, books and blues.

I am passionate about a lot of things; First, I am passionate about Africa - its rich culture and heritage, and I would be bringing you a lot of tales from there. I would start by teaching you that Africa is not a country and the people are beautiful inside and out. I would tell you Africa is not a poverty ravished continent like some media outlets love to portray, and it is a land flowing with milk and honey - if you know, you know.

I am passionate about self-development; I have come to the realisation that the greatest threat to the growth of youths and people in general is the fear of failure - the fear of the unknown, the constant whispers of self doubt and insufficiency in your ears. Fear is like the creeping creatures of doom that lurk in every corner of one's soul. Fear has a way of making you a failure before you fail, it is the forerunner of depression and the closest cousin to self-loathe and inferiority complex. It starts a war within you, and leaves you alone to fight the battle. The only way to overcome it is by truly knowing who you are, and believing that you can, if you really want to - it is a journey we would walk together.

I am passionate about art, culture, writing, poetry and curious about the mysterious world we live in. I believe everyone is gold, and the only way to make the world a better place is by showing love and care to everyone who comes our way.

I dream of a better world, full of peace and love. A world of unity among all tribes, races and people. A fair world to all - it can only start with you and I, being good to everyone we come across - even when they are mean to us.

I love the vibe on Steemit, the liveliness and positive energy here, this is like a large family where you can bare your thoughts without the fear of being judged, without people dumping hate on you . This is like another world - unique and different from all other social mediums. A world we all want to be.
