Hi, I'm Me, This is about Me. Me, me, me...

A bit about me. Who am I? Why am I here?

Many questions... I'm Ross and I like to build businesses. I say that, but to be truthful, I like to come up with ideas to solve problems. In this day and age you'd think we had our shit together enough not to have so many opportunities to make the world a better place, but hell, we've managed to fuck this up as well.

I'm very passionate about education and learning; it's something that is not only the backbone for the future, but what will help us continually evolve as a society. As such, the continuation of learning is beyond important.

On top of trying to change the world one step forward and one step backwards, I am clearly a big fan of technology, too. We are in a time where accessibility to technology, and seriously eons better technology than has ever existed, has never been better. If you have an idea, you can make a difference and run with it. This is an incredible time for opportunity for people.
No longer do you need to be capital rich, but to bring something to at least "prototype" phase, requires really very little, other than some expertise and a lot of hustle.

I am also a big fan of Lean Startup, and business model generation. It can really help structure ideas in a way that helps you validate your ideas beyond asking your mate in the pub if he thinks you're a loon or not.

I also think that blockchain has so much potential to really give back to the people who make these systems what they are. The big companies have ruled us for so long, and now there is such an opportunity for the little people, or us, to get back what we put in. Very exciting.

When I'm not pissing about with technology and business, you'll find me with my family; either in the mountains (big skier), or cooking (I love to BBQ).

I have some amazing BBQ recipes I might even share. If you try the ribs rub and sauce, I assure you you'll love them.
