Intro to Crypto from the hospital!

I've been in the hospital for about a month and a half due to staph infection in my hip joint. I've had to have surgery and enter a skilled nursing home at the age of 24... serves me right for making jokes like, I'm so hip your grandma needs a new me. Anyway, I've had so much downtime in the hospital that I decided to get into stocks. Doing that for a while and diving deep into chart analysis research, I discovered crypto! I had already heard of BTC, but was sucked into the hype while everything was soaring to 5,000... Ended up taking a massive hit due to getting in at the wrong time out of impulsive excitement. Regardless of my loss I decided I'd saddle up and hold out here for the long ride. Glad to find the Steem community and I am glad to now be a member and look forward to getting more involved!

My hip has been healing up and I will be leaving the hospital and going home in a couple weeks. Trading crypto has kept me sane throughout this experience, so there is one good thing that came of this. Finally I can soon get back to skateboarding, playing music, hiking, climbing, and all the other fun stuff I love to do. (Which now includes falling into the wormhole of crypto research) haha.
