Introduction(Networking)

Hi fellow steemians my name is Collins Chukwu Alias Banks213 a graduate of management, a project management practitioner, freelancer, addicted to problems solving and passionate about human capital development. Am here to network basically, bounce off a few ideas, meet interesting people, change a few things about me and hopefully learn new tricks, so my arms are wide open to everyone all you have to do is Upvote my post to be identified. With Surfing as a hobbie, Information as a tool and technology which gives me access I intend to achieve a wide network of professionals cutting across different functional areas, that's how I met @Rezpect-Alo who referred me to Steemit. Did i mention am new here; so if the welcome wagon could be rolled out I will be delighted...lol
First things first, "no man is an island" moreover a tree cannot make a forest, so I understand the dynamics of working with diverse cultural groups towards achieving a particular purpose. Little wonder Mary Parker defined management as the art of getting things done through people. Ideas they say - rule the world! Now imagine how illuminating it will be being part of the inner circle of the greatest thinkers of this generation.
There's always a new thing to learn from the next person if given the opportunity, imagine a world without Bill Gates or Einstein or Mark Zuckerberg, trust me it won't be interesting. Innovation and continuous improvement is a sine qua non for staying relevant can only be achieved through one's curiosity and associations, hence the need for networking.
The three things that can take you to the next level are your Interest, Skills/Qualification and Opportunity.
The first two addresses you as a person, which entails asking certain questions or doing self appraisal to defining and/or determining your passion, capabilities and competence. It helps you understand What excites you? What you love doing? What gives you peace? What motivates you? How do you swim murky waters? What challenges have you overcome and what was your approach. Answers to these questions would expose things about you that are inherent.
But the opportunity is out there waiting to be utilized if only.... Questions like: Where is your focus? Who do you know? Where do you invest your resources? How wide is your network, are you good at communications . In other words, you ( skills/interest) + network-people(opportunity) determines your next move in life.
So update your skills, re-define your interest, the big-break your anticipating might just happen at the next click of the mouse, keep an open mind, always network, be nice, be safe and hey!!! work smart and not hard say thank you, please or sorry as at when due and most importantly be focused stay tuned.
