MY INTRODUCTION TO STEEMIT - a young Venezuelan, without an identity thanks to the government

Wow this post is raw and sincere and sad and hopeful all at the same time.

I have read about Venezuela often and since the media here is a bit deceitful, you can never be certain if what you read is 100% true. It seems that it's not. Our media in the US refuses to paint Venezuela as nothing but a pretty picture, because admitting that its not is admitting that dictatorial socialism does not and cannot work.

I am so sorry that you are caught up in this mess. You are right, Venezuela has some of the most beautiful...well...everything in the world: women, (men haha), scenery, food, music. I very much look forward to the day when your country can get back on its feed and take down the misery that you have in your government.

Please, stay on Steemit, post often, comment often, get to know people. Tell them your story. Take pictures of what's going on, tag it under politics, it will do well there. MAKE MONEY, it is an easy way to, and a possible way to dig yourself out of your nightmare. I selfishly sometimes think I have it bad here living in near poverty, and I often need a slap in the face reminder from someone really struggling.

I just started on here too, but I am trying to work my way up and I have a great network of friends. The number beside your name is your reputation score. Get that up as quickly as you can, as then your votes have more power and you can start making more money. You can get that up faster by interacting in comments on other posts, especially posts of those who have a high reputation!

I have followed you and wish the best for you. Please let me know if you need anything!
