#introducemyself, Why am I here? I'll find out with your help?!

Steemit, how did I get here?! Intrigued by a speech from eos.io CEO Brendan Blumer about his company, and mentioning Steemit, I decided I have to be a participant of a DAO rather than trying to think about what it meant. So here I am.
Steemit makes sense for anybody that has anything to share. In that sense one could think it’s like FB, but of course it is not. There is no value, so to speak, in sharing fake news and badly documented pieces, and if you write nonsense you will get nowhere. Ok. So do I believe I can write “sense”? The Steemit community will let me know for sure, lest you be the impartial judge. Alternatively, partial.

However, this note is about me. I am French and Swiss, live in Switzerland but travel lots, mainly in global financial centres and where the wheels of my adventure bike take me. My kids and a passion for golf also lead my travel whims. I am an economist by training, and I am interested in where the world is going. Politically, environmentally, economically, socially and technologically. Moreover, I can see things are merging in a very interesting and fascinating place with blockchain and DAOs. We shall see.
I have no preconception as to what I shall write on. My hunch is that I will share thoughts and see what it brings to the debates at hand, using steemit’s reach to gauge what’s bothering us or some of us.
