I've liked writing for a while but I just haven't gotten around to doing much in the past because I have to feel passionate about what I choose to write. That problem was solved in September 2017 when I lived through a category 5 hurricane, Maria to be exact. I'm a medical student and I happened to be attending school on the Caribbean Island of Dominica when the hurricane struck. I've found much to write about since then; I guess living through one of the most dangerous natural disasters known will do that to you. It was on
