Newbie Poet. (Marooned)😂😂

MAROONED

He feels trapped in his own feelings,
The water right above his head submerging him,
Like someone is pushing him right into the waves,
He is tired and exhausted of all the nagging.

The past week it was about getting a better job,
Yesterday about bringing his girlfriend home, Today it is about proposing to his longtime girlfriend,
Noone ever seems to get it, they have it all figured out for him.

Sometimes it was like he was tied up at the bottom of the sea,
With everyone telling him what he ought to do,
He craved freedom, freedom in this life he called his,
He was marooned in his own life and wanted to make a choice to live.
