Hi folks. I'm Kip Ingram, a husband, father, and engineer living in the Houston Texas area. I work for a large information technology company - my team specializes in the development of high-performance enterprise-grade flash storage drives and systems. I have five daughters and enjoy a broad array of interests, including woodworking, music, history, philosophy, physics, and computer activities - particular the Forth programming language invented in the early 1970's by Chuck Moore.
I'm not exactly sure yet what Steemit is all about, but it looks extremely interesting, and I have always approved of decentralized, public/private key based systems. So I'm looking eagerly forward to learning the ropes and getting to know a lot of you folks.
