Hello Steemit!!!
This post has been a while coming as consistent internet connectivity in Guatemala is more of an illusion than a reality.
Our names are Amber-Leigh & Ian and together we make up the account @lovealwaysal. Both birthed in Edmonton, Canada (by different mothers and fathers) we found each other and have taken the circus we call our life on the road. We left Canada on August 17th, 2016 on a trip through Central and South America and have been in Guatemala for the past month.
We were forcibly required to look into Steemit by @kristylynn (Amber-leigh's sister). Once the pushy-ness (with love) subsided we liked what we saw, and thank her for relentless reminders! The cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is completely foreign to us, but we are excited to delve more into depth and uncover what there is so see and share our thoughts and experiences.
We would love to hear from you more experienced Steemit people about the possibilities that are in front of us!
We went on this trip to find out more about who we are as individuals and as a couple, as well as to experience the world together. Over the last month our initial experiences have been eye-opening as we begin to see what life is like outside our comfortable country of Canada and how the western world has been impacting developing nations.
We want to use Steemit to reach an online community that we hope to interact with, learn from, and share ideas with as we travel!
