What is your relationship to the universe?

I was really lucky to grow up on an island called Cyprus, a place that felt like paradise at times. But growing up in such a small place, you can't help feeling encapsulated as your curiosity to see the world itches away at your feet. The turning point was probably about 7 years ago - I moved to Bristol UK, picked a random subject in the university prospectus and enjoyed what every student does. Drinking, a bit of studying , meeting people, completely rugby mad and playing at a high level which I was really proud of. I kept that going until fast forward a couple of years later, life just felt like it gradually started losing meaning. Something was missing.

I found liberation in writing.

Nature and my environment was what inspired me and I grew so much comfort in observing the interconnectedness and the similarity in characteristics that I could draw between a human being and a tree for example. All four seasons would weave a different sense of glory in the canvas of my being and through exploring my surroundings I understood that nature was always willing to connect, always ready to share and shower us with its stories of being ; this evoked something truly energetic and strong within me. We are all instruments of expression, organs of the universe seeking to actively express and create, and in doing so, radiate joy through our lives.

This is my relationship to the universe. I hope my writing is able to evoke something within you and in doing so inspire you to express yourself according to your understanding of the world . I aim to share my writing , photography and art and in turn enjoy how you express yourselves here on this wonderful platform.
