Hello Steemit!

Greetings People of Steemit, Steemers, Steemians, Denizens of Steemville, Steemvillians (! - I think I found my favorite!), ~

My name is Martina and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest of the U.S. I am a teacher, writer and practitioner of earth medicine, who creates online and in-person circles and private mentoring that uses archetypes of oral tradition (think fairy tale, folklore, mythology) as a lens for self-development and spiritual connection. My work includes a lot of opportunities to learn about how journaling, journey work, energy work, earth based spirituality, and the cycles of the Wheel of the Year can help us to connect to our soul voices and find purpose and deeper spiritual connection. These programs are a healing journey into the ancient wisdom of story as passed down to us through our ancestors.

In the other half of my life, I am a primary caregiver for a parent with dementia and devote a lot of time to educating people about this umbrella of diseases and engaging in advocacy for individuals affected them and their caregivers.

In my free time, I share my home in the beautiful Pacific NW with rescued dogs, cats and a garden filled with birds and trees. My interests include writing, music, travel, learning, singing, tarot, gemstones, aromatherapy, studying different spiritual paths, alternative medicine and healing and, of course, reading fairy tales and folklore.

I'm excited to be here and to see how this space evolves for me, but imagine whatever writing I do will incorporate a lot of the above.
