Hello Steemit!

Hello everybody!

Who am I ?

My name is Joonas. I was born in 1984. I live in Tampere, Finland. I'm a music producer and a sound-tech-enthusiast.

What do I do ?

I have been producing various styles of electronic music since around 1998. Currently I am actively releasing music and performing gigs with some of my projects.

What do I like ?

Finding new production tools and techniques is rad. I like to experiment with sound synthesis and all kinds of audio manipulation. I'm also interested in sound design and composing for games and films. Discovering new enjoyable music (without genre boundaries) is super fun too.

Some of my current music projects:

Vertical - "psytrance"

Distant Thunder - "psytrance"

Ursus - "ambient"

Steemit plans?

My posts will probably be related to my own music projects and producing in general. Perhaps here you'll find some tutorials or just thoughts about music making.

Please feel free to suggest topics that I could write about. Any questions regarding music, producing, software etc. are more than welcome.

Thank you for your time!

Welcome Joonas! There aren't yet many music producers on this platform so you've arrived at the best of times. I'm not sure about others, but one subject I could find interesting is what software you use, have used and your small "reviews" of them. Also there's plenty of singers around here in Steemit, maybe in future some producers and singers could "hook up", plenty of writers too! First steemit band incoming!

Thanks for your idea :) The DAW thing was actually something I was thinking about yesterday. Maybe I will go through all the software chronologically that I have used and write some thoughts about them. And yes, definetily looking forward to some networking possibilities in here!

Also another great topic would be the hardware you have found essential to your work, I'll be looking forward to these posts.

That's a quick one to answer: Dynaudio BM6A monitor speakers and PC desktop computer. I pretty much have worked with just software. Recently my friends have borrowed me some synths to try out though :)
