Introduction to the world of Steemit

in introducemyself •  7 years ago

Hi all, this is my second post on steemit which should have in fact been the first one. Very new to steem and currently still learning the features and how steem work. This is something new and interesting, hope to be able to master the features and functions.

Currently living in the Perth, WA. Which according to the list of most liveable cities; Perth is number 7 (If I recalled correctly).

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/08/17/the-worlds-top-10-most-livable-cities.html

Been in Perth for more than 10 years, and can't deny the fact that it a city that is wonderful for a family, the spaces, slow pace of life. There have been changes over the last 5 years, with new infrastructures and landmarks being built.

Nothing is perfect, always be content with what we have and never compare against others.

Congrats and welcome to Steemit - there are many things to see and learn on this platform. My 2 cents is to watch how you tag your posts. You have up to 5 tags you can use to get your post more publicity across the platform.

For good, original content you can use #whalepower curated and owned by @bullionstackers

As you are from Australia, I'd suggest getting in touch with #teamaustralia, @choogirl was awesome and recruited me. They are a great bunch and truly support Aussies on #Steemit.

Finally, read some of the "how to" posts by more senior members of the various communities here on posting/commenting etiquette.

Cheers!!

Thank @watch-chronolog, thank you for the suggestion. Will certainly look at the them.
Have a great weekend

@watch-chronolog thanks for the mentioned

Nice post! You have signed up recently so welcome to the great community of steemit. Have an upvote and rock on!
I know how hard it is as a fresh account so you could give @MinnowPowerUp a go. This service lets you earn up to 30% more steem power than just powering up! It's a subscription based daily upvote bot that draws its power from a delegation pool. I made this post to explain the system in more depth and show how I earn over $1 a day in upvotes.

Congratulations! This post has been upvoted from the communal account, @minnowsupport, by watch-chronolog from the Minnow Support Project. It's a witness project run by aggroed, ausbitbank, teamsteem, theprophet0, someguy123, neoxian, followbtcnews/crimsonclad, and netuoso. The goal is to help Steemit grow by supporting Minnows and creating a social network. Please find us in the Peace, Abundance, and Liberty Network (PALnet) Discord Channel. It's a completely public and open space to all members of the Steemit community who voluntarily choose to be there.
