Trip, Def Leppard collaborate for Comerica Park show, U.S. visit

The sound of '80s hit shake will clear into Comerica Park this mid year.

Adventure and Def Leppard will play the Detroit Tigers' ballpark on July 13, some portion of a 58-indicate visit that sets two of that period's persisting names. The mid year long run is by and large formally reported toward the beginning of today following a few days of online buzz.

Tickets for the Comerica Park show will go marked down to the overall population at 10 a.m. Feb. 9. Data on pre-deal windows and VIP bundles is normal in coming days.

Comerica Park is one of 10 stadiums on the co-featuring visit, which incorporates stops at Chicago's Wrigley Field and Boston's Fenway Park. The groups will swap out opening and shutting spaces all through the visit, however there's no word yet on the running request in Detroit.

Voyage and Def Leppard last collaborated in 2006, an extensive North American run that included shows at DTE Energy Music Theater and Grand Rapids' Van Andel Arena.

Separately, Journey and Def Leppard stay solid amphitheater draws, and DTE has been the go-to neighborhood goal for each band as of late. Together, they'll mean to fill Comerica Park, which can hold around 40,000 for expansive scale shows.

The planning of the July 13 show will require a speedy turnaround for Comerica Park staff members and Live Nation creation work force: As reported a week ago, Zac Brown Band is booked to play the stadium the next night.

The Tigers' groundskeeping squad will then have a couple of days to return to baseball mode, with the group planned to come back to Comerica Park to meet the Boston Red Sox on July 20.
