Hello Steem Team!

I have just got on here and wanted to say a big hello and a few things about me.

Things I love

As a husband, my wife and family come top of the list.

After that, my passions are for learning languages, travel, surfing, basketball and sharing what I learn.

I have worked as an English language teacher for the last 10 years, mainly because of the travel opportunities while also helping people who to develop in life.

Places I have worked

I have been fortunate enough to work in several different countries, namely Spain, Italy, and in Bali, Indonesia.

I learnt the languages in each country and am now able to speak with people from all over the world - I love it!

Languages I speak

From my degree in French & Spanish, I am fluent in both and absolutely love practising them, although I don't get that much of a chance these days as I am back living in the UK.

I also learnt Italian to an advanced level as it isn't too difficult with a background in French & Spanish - if the grammar or vocabulary isn't the same as in one language, it is similar to the other.

Surfing and Basketball

My two favourites sports and activities - have been doing both for over 20 years and get so much enjoyment from them.

Surfing is a great way to unwind and relax, while basketball for me is an awesome and exciting team pursuit.

Public Health & Health Promotion

I am also doing a part-time MSc. in Public Health & Health Promotion as I hope to work in helping people to improve their health in the near future.

Doing a Masters part-time is a slog but will be worth it in the end!

My main focus has been on workplace health although I have done some assignments on childhood vaccinations and smoking cessation - all really interesting topics.

Working Online

I am also really interested in working online and developing online courses. I have a few blogs and sites but am now looking at getting into making products for them.

It is hard but very enjoyable - I am yet to make a profit, though!
