Good day everyone! I’m new here and this is going be my first post in Steemit I will definitely make this post as meaningful as it is. Firstly, I’m going to introduce about myself first before I further my writing on myself.

Well, my name is Yong Kang and most of my friends call me YK. I’m 21 this year and I come from a very small town in Mentakab, Pahang. I’m currently having my degree in Bachelor of Finance and Economics in Taylor’s University Lakeside. Meanwhile, I would like to show my gratitude to my parents as they spend so much and provide me with good for me to study in university this university is known as one of top university in Malaysia. Despite from studying, I also started my very first job being an insurance agent as well as a wealth planner in HongLeong Assurance two years ago. But now I’m inactive with that job because at this moment I’m focusing on my internship in an NGO called CyberCare Youth Organization. This is a why I get to know about Steemit as @maverickfoo is one of the speakers in Youth Entrepreneurship Programme. At the same time, another special thanks to @maverickfoo for sharing his precious knowledge and guiding all of us along this journey about Steemit.

In 2017, there’s really too much ups and downs happened in my life, just like a roller coaster. One of the most unforgettable memories is that I broke up with my girlfriend who had spent time with me for 2 years and yet she's my best friend for 8 years already. Honestly speaking, it actually hurt me lot too because she used to be my most important partners during that two years time. Not only that, I even got into two times accident in last year June and November. Fortunately and unexpected was, I got totally got no injured in the tragic accident and I believe the air bags saved my life. I really thank God for protecting me.

In this moment, I really hope that 2018 will go smoothly and hoping that each day will bring everyone new hopes. Let’s make this year the meaningful year and most importantly live with no regrets!
