This is conclusion of My Grandmother trilogy and it's about how I made peace with old witch. I described in my earlier posts about her what type of person is she. Rude, proud, always calls cops to our neighbours, or threats me that she will kick me outta house. But I never took that serious. I think it is because those cannabis cakes I gave her. I just don't understand what is she planning with all that money that she's hiding around the house. She is 84 and fact that she saves money for her future is hilarious.
One summer day I found her lying on the floor in the backyard. I was scared but stood calm. I realized that she fell unconscious. Then I saw puddle of mud behind her and realized that she slipped and fell. Her hand didn't look well,so I called Emergency. When doctor came, he said that she broke her arm and she fell unconscious because of shock. They put her into emergency vehicle and drove her to the hospital. I drove just behind them.
I waited in the hospital for three hours, then they called me to see her. She was awake and her right hand was in gypsum plaster. For the first time in my life, she actually smiled to me. Then she told me this words and it was shocking for me:
- I know that I'm torturing you, but that is for you to get better and stronger. One day, all my fortune will be yours...
I drove her home, she went to sleep, and after one hour, I went to the backyard and saw her digging in the garden with her left hand! That old devil had a will of the steel. She continued to saying that she will kick me outta house, but now, I take it even less serious. She could have very good results as a Steemer, but I can't persuade her.
