Usually people introduce here themself, I think I am the first one who is posting goodbye in introduce yourself section.
I joined steemit platform in December 2017, it is around 50 days.
In these 50 days I have posted 140 posts and have around 680 followers.
I posted, followed, commented, upvoted and resteemed as much as I can.
By doing for 50 days I earned just 0.5 SBD and around 0.486 SBD. Yes, this is reality.
What extra you see in my wallet, I purchased it to upvote other users.
Harsh realities of steemit :
- People who have lots of steem power, they will get all upvote, follow and resteem.
These people have not earned from zero, they started from a good level. - People will upvote whales, pay to bots to get more upvote and resteem.
If you honestly post then forgot it, you will never earn.
You need money to earn money on steemit. - Nobody cares about your content, no matter what you post , people don't read it.
The aim is just upvote, resteem, follow. - A useless article about eating ,sleeping etc. will earn more than $500,
but more sensible article will not even earn one dollar. - Rich will get Rich and poor will get more poor by wasting the time in hope to earn some money, which will never happen here.
GoodLuck for your better future all my friends.
Hope ur dreams turn into reality.
GoodBye :(
Going back to reality:(
I know how it feels. Please checkout https://steemit.com/steemit/@steemladder/a-thumb-rule-for-steemit-minnows-50-100-200-25 and you will get to know about the tips for going through this phase.
Initially it is more about engagement rather than making your own posts. Read other interesting blogs, add meaningful comments, upvote and resteem if you think it will be helpful for others.
If you are looking at making money and cribbing about lack of visibility I would suggest you to go to https://steemit.com/trending and adding insightful comments on the posts that are trending. This way you will get the attention of other whales and they will upvote you if they like your comment. First work on building a good community of followers. Then you can dedicate more time for posting your own blogs.
To keep you motivated I have given a upvote :)

First of all... you should have never quitted your job unless you are established on steemit, NOT when you are starting. Its normal for many of us to get next to nothing starting out and I understand your struggles. Its unfair but lets be honest here.... the reason, everyone of us started low but not everyone will make it on steemit unless they stay consistent and find new ways to put their content out there:
Before you leave, you should read this... and let me know if you have done all of the following I did before, I am on the same boat but I am still working cause I need a cashflow until I can make stable money outside of work, thats what you need to understand:

@abhishek108
Thats unfortunate! The decision to quit your full time job was probably not the right one. I agree it can be tough here for freshmen with regards to the $.
But hey, don't get disheartened man. You have written a lot in the last month. I'm sure for every post you've written should have learned something new. Researches have proved that journaling improves a person's overall skills, makes him/her a better person. This has been a huge learning curve for you.
Take the positives and come back later when your money is no longer a priority. Cheers!
