I am happy to announce that AboutHeraklion is now live on the blockchain!
AboutHeraklion is a project made with love with the goal to introduce Heraklion, the capital city of Crete island in Greece to its visitors and why not? Its citizens.
Heraklion is a city with rich history.
What I wish to do is to showcase some of the most visited landmarks and monuments of the city and:
- Create interest for Heraklion
- Inform visitors about history of the landmarks
- Show important and interesting tips
- Create anticipation for people who will visit in the future
- Possibly find solutions of issues there may be
- Gather a community interested for our place
The project is already up and running for more than one year.

Why joining steem?
My future goals include a blog which will have current and useful news for Heraklion and why not, Crete
People could also join steem and be rewarded when creating content about Heraklion, Crete
Information will be included in the @steemworldmap
A variety of dapps could also be used, such as @appics and more : )
The steem earned will be used to grow the account, to reward content regarding Heraklion and Crete and also to help promote the social media accounts.
