Hello all! I'm Nik, freelance furniture designer by day, guinea pig hustler by night. I was born in Northern England, grew up in Northern New Jersey and now I live with my wife in Northern Scotland. I guess I'm some sort of Northerner.
I work for myself doing 2D and 3D designs, mainly specialising in bespoke furniture.
As well as my work, I'm going to be posting about the many other things I'm in to. 3D printing. Smelly old French diesel cars. Radio controlled stuff. Roller derby. Arduinos. Photography. Potato guns. Graphic design...you get the idea.
Hopefully something of interest to someone, somewhere, at some point.
I won't go too deeply into the sex and lies at the moment, but I will gratuitously show off one of the guinea pigs. We currently have six. The number is historically low and there's usually at least one rabbit involved. All rescues, of course.
I'll be doing a profile of each pig, however in the meantime, here's Hippo:
