Although this is not my first blog post, I never properly introduced myself on Steemit.

Personally, my preference of self expression are through soundscapes and music as apposed writing and making videos of myself, so writing a blog is quite a daunting challenge!!I do however love the @Steemit concept and the truly insightful Steemian community, so here goes to introducing myself…

Spiritual being

Our true self is found in the deepest place of our intentions, desires, wishes and dreams. I am a multi-dimensional spiritual being in the midst of a human experience, born under the sign of Aquarius, symbolized by the water bearer.

Aquarians submerge the world with inventive thoughts and new ideas. Independent, creative, stimulating, erratic, frank, serious-minded, genial, ethereal, idealistic, concise, clear and logical…

The Aquarius birth stone is the Amethyst and Aquarius is ruled by the planets Saturn and Uranus. The energy of Uranus instils Aquarians with their visionary spirit and Saturn is responsible for the task master characteristics. If it’s new, radical and rebellious, Aquarians are all over it. Creativity and inventiveness are the greatest assets of Aquarians.
The element associated with Aquarius is Air and represents, intelligence, inventiveness, altruism and being artistic and humane.

The great strengths of the Aquarius-born are their vision, intellect and humility. They are determined to make the world a better place and to help everyone they can along the way. Aquarians have a feeling of unity with nature and a desire for knowledge and truth.

My Intentions:

To be free, to follow my purpose and to be aligned with that which reflects total authenticity.

To express and expand my passion. To create a life that makes my heart sing!

To build and establish strong foundations for the future

To create an outer reality that aligns with my new vibrant inner world.

To find a way to support that which I would do for no return and let that be my service to the world and I then ask those who receive from my sharing to support me in continuing to share.

Husband

I am married to a wonderful, loving and supportive wife. We are in a Twin flame union and I’ll keep the interesting story of how we met for another blog post for another day.

Spending quality time together is of high importance to us and we thoroughly enjoy each other’s company. We love, we fight, we laugh, we cry, we play, we work, we have fun, we endure, we socialize, we hermit, we experience amazing times and places, we experience dark times and scary places, however, what we do, we do together and stay as present as we can. We are polar opposites and complement each other very well. I am the blue night – introvert, quiet, reserved, calm, intellectual, visionary. She is the yellow sun – extrovert, talkative, outgoing, energetic, emotional, heart-cantered. Some shared characteristics we have make for interesting times, these are being strong-willed, passionate, loving and kind.

We make a terrific team and I have recently resigned from my job to embark on a soul journey together in the field of mindfulness, music and meditation among other things as our heart’s project called Mindful Flames. Our “career” paths converged in the beginning of 2017 which resulted in love anchoring meditations to open and ground music festivals and spread love to the earth for collective healing. 2017 was a period of personal realignment and reorientation and was filled with amazing insights, teachings and wonderful experiences in general. I have been creating music for meditation and healing since 2015 as well as DJing since 2012. Therefore, when we “work” together I create and hold space with music, while she facilitates and guides the meditations or ceremonies.

Father

I am father to a beautiful girl, turning 5 now in June. Children are truly a blessing and shows and teaches you so many aspects of life as well as about yourself. Most important of all, parenthood shows you the power of love and being innocent and pure. I am crazy about being a dad and getting to play with our daughter every day fills my heart with joy!

I love teaching her lessons of life and showing her the way of unconditional love as well as to love and respect the earth we are living on. Although, being a dad is not always easy and can be quite challenging at times, being a dad is a great privilege and a true honour. I am deeply grateful for my family.

Psychedelic Sorcerer (#altumanimo)

Being very passionate about sound and music, my life was guided into psychedelic music after growing up all rock & roll. Back then I would have never imagined myself listening to electronic music. Psychedelic in ancient Greek means to open the mind or soul revealing.

My journey in psychedelic music started more than a decade ago, where during this time I’ve been immersed in psychedelic art forms. Altum Animo is my psychedelic full on project with a beat tempo range of 140 – 145 BPM (beats per minute). In Latyn, altum refers to deep and animo to mind.

My Intention:

To provide new and exciting music to expand consciousness while being playful, fun and groovy…

Driven by the force of resonant bass lines and mesmerizing psychedelic sounds, Altum Animo is designed to grab you by the cerebellum and make your body move out of control… The style can best be described as an intense surge of powerful driving bass lines harmonizing with hypnotic melodic leads, pads, and psychedelic landscapes all folded together in a spacious atmosphere.

Chill Wizard (#ambientspirit)

During the time we were pregnant with our daughter, I shifted my focus from the higher paced full on music, to creating slower downtempo psychedelic chill music ranging from about 90 – 110 BPM.

Ambient Spirit is the name of my psychedelic chill project and the intention is to bring a message of Love, Oneness and Unity.

Open your heart and mind to expand your awareness. Tune in to your light, to the torus of energy that is your light body. Open your heart, let your energy glow vibrantly like the sun, and then expand further.

Encompassing sounds and rhythms that create a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, Ambient Spirit is deeply rooted in psychedelic chill out, ambient and other downtempo and midtempo styles.

I have always experienced music as a means of healing, however after doing a course in energy healing, I connected all the dots with regards to sound, intentions and healing. I’ve ultimately been guided into sound healing and Holistic Healing Vibrations was born. The music from this project is what my wife and I essentially used when working together.

Holistic Healing Vibrations is here on this planet, in this space and time to spread the healing power of love through sound vibration.

Although I’ve recently resigned from my day job, no one can ever take away the skills I’ve acquired. Modern Day Awakening (#raisingawareness #raisingconciousness)

We are cyclical beings in a world and universe, existing and evolving within cycles upon cycles of growth and transformations. Having an inner awakening leads us to making big changes in our lives. I began embracing the stillness of the present moment and embodying the wholeness and balance that exists inherently within us, a place of pure consciousness. However, being a researcher going through a spiritual awakening is quite something, because of the way your brain has been trained to find truth among overwhelming literature can be very helpful among the masses out data available.

2011-11-11 marks a big day in our collective evolution and from 2011 – 2014 I spent my time after work documenting and compiling information which came to light. This research project resulted in my first self-published book – Modern Day Awakening: Love, Grace & Gratitude which is available on Amazon and Sellfy
