Hey whats up, My name is Andrés Silvera and I am a self taught visual mixed media artist from Toronto Canada, mostly working in watercolor, acrylics and recently oils.
I have a love for human emotion and expression, for me each of my characters has their own story, personality and reason for being. They usually reflect personal experiences and feelings of those of close friends and family personified in someone else.
I rarely know exactly how I want the piece to look when finished and I like to believe that a lot of the times, they create themselves.
I really like to create timelapse videos for my pieces over on my youtube channel, https://www.youtube.com/user/andresilvera its a way of inviting people into my studio and watching each piece come to life in a matter of minutes.
oh yeah! and I have a huge obsession with unicorns, especially purple ones! ask me about my collection, I'm sure they would love to know you are interested in their lives :)
