Introducing….Me!
Hello to all of you Steemians out there. My name is Andy and in short I wear many hats: Photographer, Web Designer, Business Development Manager, Partner and Dad. My passions are family, photography, food and wine!

I am extremely excited to join the steemit community and really look forward to watching it grow and seeing where it goes. I like to consider myself an early adapter when it comes to all things tech but I already feel like I am a little late to this party. A good friend of mine happened across some of the Jerry Banfield videos on YouTube and was excited to tell me all about it in the office the next day; we both keenly signed up and spent the next 24 hours constantly checking our inboxes for the confirmation emails. Well today is day one and I am just starting to explore. From what I have seen so far I find it to be a refreshing change from Facebook and the popularity competition that it has become. It seems that the majority of the people (judging by the articles I have read so far) on steemit seem to have a genuine desire to share a part of themselves with the community here and for that very reason I am more compelled to actually read what people have written rather then just scroll past the monotony of social media users just trying to look like they have some sort of Kardashian life. Anyway that isn’t really about me, so I will try to get back on track.
I am originally from Chester in the North West of England but moved to Jersey in the Channel Islands in 2011. I live with my partner, two children and our pet dog Barney.

Over the past year I have had the opportunity to photograph some incredible events whilst working for Jersey Events. The highlight of the 2017 was probably being one of the three official photographers to photograph the Rainforest Ball which who's star attraction was Take That or photographing the Superleague Triathlon (see below Take That).
