What did I expect from Stimit? Believing in miracles
My name is Anna Mur. I'm a circus actress, dancer and gymnast. When I registered on steemit I was 8 months pregnant and had been unemployed for several months. When I discovered steemit I thought it was a miracle, that's how I can realize myself until I will come back to work. I looked at the introductions posts of people who earned 100 or more steem dollars and it inspired me. So I made my first introduction post more than 3 months back and I was whaiting for succes ... but nothing. my post recieved just 1 dollar .. I was not in that lucky people list who starts to recieve a lot of upvotes from the first post. But I did not give up, I made my posts almost every day with the hope that a miracle will happen and someone will appreciate my art. I made my vlog about performances and gymnastic, I made tutorials, but so far the miracle has not happened. Sometimes a post picks up 10 or 20 dollars - but it's very rare, the last posts gain a few cents. May be I expected to much. I like to do performances, to pose as model, to make extreme tricks, to do something crazy and unusual with my body, I like my work, I like trips and a healthy lifestyle and to share my inspiration with people.
About the difficulties ...
A lot of difficulties I found on steemit. The biggest problem for me that I can not write articles easily. I am Ukrainian, my native language is Ukrainian and Russian, and Russian-speaking people are very few here.
Less than 3 months ago my daughter was born. I do not work for the momentt and try to restore my body after giving birth. Moms know how it is not easy to look after baby, it takes all the time. Even to write this post is not given to me easily. I do not complain. Just tell how it is.
Why I do this?
I still believe in miracle, I hope to be useful and inspire people

Keep trying. I like your posts very much. I think to make money here, you have to have a very technical mind. I dont think it has anything to do with what you write or post. It is to do tactics. I am frustrated nobody writes about performing, but i love the art and poetry section. It is hard if English not your native language. Keep on posting videos and photos. You are very creative. You will find a way.

I'm very new here on steemit (it's my first day), but i never expected to make money fast. There is no thing like "getting rich over night without lifting a finger", regardless of what the nerds on the startpage tell you :)
I also decided to write in English, which isn't my mother tongue. I see it as a challenge and a way to educate myself. But you're absolutely right, it's hard and takes time.
But i believe that steemit needs more people like you! True artists and performers. Don't give up, i love your photo!

It is currently hard but I think it is worth waiting for a few months more after the introduction of SMTs which will hopefully improve the value of upvotes of many people in communities. Have you tried Golos?
