Introduction: Bittrex-Ryan Your first line of support

Please tell me why Bittrex is not responding to a communication from a user whose 15 BTC were stolen when you allowed the hacker to gain access by using the password reset feature (to email) and then to withdraw immediately after changing the password and on IP addresses that had never been used by this customer.

Bitfinex immediately locked his account when the hacker tried to do the same there.

You guys' security procedures appear to be totally whacko.

Please respond as I am encouraging him to take you to small claims court if you don't.

Sort Order:

0:02 login notification email arrives - attacker deletes it
0:04 withdraw email arrives for 8+ BTC - attacker clicks the confirmation link and deletes the email
0:10 I send an email to Bittrex requesting immediate account lockdown
0:13 withdraw email arrives for 6+ BTC - attacker clicks the confirmation link and deletes the email
0:16 Bittrex replies and says they have locked the account, but the funds are gone, nothing to be done
attacker deletes that email too
all emails were found in the Trashcan folder

the IP address he used was from Luxemburgh lol, and the IP is reported for hacking and spamming previously as I googled it.. I have only ever logged in from ***** (other country)
