Hey newbies I'm a newbie too ~ Let's build a community together

I think the true power of Steem lies in community building. Right now, as newbies, it's hard to generate the influence and upvote power we crave. Let's get together and upvote each other!

Besides, I need more cool content for my feed.

My name is Artopium Mike. Follow me and I'll follow you. ;)

I try to provide good art, music, fashion, video, and book related content, and I'm always looking to promote more works. Hit me up.

Congratulations, you have received a free upvote from @bonds!

Bonds offers a hedge against volatility as well as paid upvote and reSTEEM services.

Bonds is not a bot- this is run by humans, for humans.

Check out our #introduceyourself post to find- out more- if you like the idea, like or reSTEEM it, and we all benefit.

Happy STEEMing!

Newbie here! What does your comment in your photo, "The Great NW" mean? Im in the NW US, but being an international community I'm not sure if we are talking about the same thing. It looks like we have similar interests so I'd be glad to build a community together.

Ha cool! I lived in Portland Oregon, US for 8 years. The picture is actually an album cover, "The Great NW" is the title of the album. :) Welcome to Steemit! I look forward to your posts!

Im in Salem. I have a podcast here interviewing local entertainers. Do you have any favorite bands from the area?

Hmm. I'm not familiar with the Salem music scene, and Portland was mostly about the club scene and dub-step warehouse parties. I like dubstep, but I like live music too. I did see some bands out at the Mississppi Pizza Pub. I really Like Aisle Of View, and there was a band I saw at a house party quite a while back called Cars and Trains and they were damn good. I'm sure there are more if I sat and thought about it.

And you? Any good bands you can suggest to me or direct to my website? :)

Yeah, maybe. I know bands and artists that may be interested. Email me at [email protected] with the info. Also thanks for the recommendation, I will check them out!
