My name is Andrew. I am a non-binary anarchistic otaku extraordinaire.

Greetings fellow steemers, my name is Andrew. I am brand new to steemit, in fact I am completely new to blogging. I learned about steemit from a ted talks video. I figured blogging on steemit would be a good way to spend my free time, and the potential to make money makes it a hobby worth exploring. This is the most recent photograph of myself.

Here are some basic things about me. My sun sign is Scorpio, and we are the rock stars of the astrological figures. I don't actually believe in astrology, but I do find it fascinating. If I had to use one word to describe myself I would choose Idealistic. Which means I see the world as it should be, not as it currently is. The gender I identify as is non-binary, which means neither male nor female. I don't care about pronouns, so you can pretty much call me whatever you want. I am currently in a relationship with an amazing woman, who loves me very much. Here is a picture of my beautiful girlfriend.

We have been together for about 6 months. We actually met online in a chatbox on a dragon ball streaming website. We really hit things off, and within a few months I moved thousands of miles to be with her. We recently adopted an adorable special needs kitten who we named Jiren. We named him after a dragon ball super character. My girlfriend works as a vet tech, and Jiren was brought to her work by a man who found some abandoned kittens. My girlfriend fell in love with him instantly. Jiren has a collapsed eye, but is otherwise a very adorable, and healthy kitten. Here he sitting in my lap as my girlfriend, and I go for a drive.

Some other things you should know about me is that I am an anarchist. Although I sometimes refer to myself as a libertarian socialist. Which basically means I am in favor of worker self management, and I am against centralized authoritative political structures. Another thing you should know is I am a huge anime nerd or Otaku. I enjoy everything from the mainstream to the obscure. My favorite manga/anime series is One Piece. Its an incredibly long series, and can be tough to get into. However the pay off is big. My favorite thing about One Piece is the world building. It has everything an adventure/fantasy fan could want. Multiple races, giant sea creatures, lands under the sea, and above the clouds. Currently I am watching devil man cry baby. Which is a rather strange title, you can find it on netflix. I don't suggest watching it if you are easily offended. Anyways politics, and anime is what I will mostly be blogging about. Of course my interests do extend past those subjects.

Welcome to Stemit! You should watch Death note! :D

I love Death Note. One of the best animes of all time.

Welcome to steemit fellow Scorpion

Welcome friend... I look forward to ur anime posts! (please indicate if you're gonna be mentioning spoilers tho! :)

2 questions for ya:
who's your fave dragonball character? and have you watched Inuyasha?

Also, it's so cool you've taken such a huge step (moving 1000s of miles for your beloved) so nonchalantly... Cheers :)

I love inuyasha, years ago I use to work swing shift. When I came home one of the few good things on tv was adult swim. Its hard to pick a favorite dragonball character, but I'm leaning towards gohan.

wow gohan really? I've been Team Vegeta since the first time I laid my eyes on that beautiful cocky bastard :D
Also, it's interesting you love Inuyasha... I also loved watching it as a child, revisited it recently and watched the first 4 volumes... gotta tell ya, the dialogue and story is cool, but the fight scenes are a little disappointing no?

More so adult Gohan then child Gohan. If you are team Vegeta then you will probably like the newest episode of super.

I think its just nostalgia. We love something when we are younger, but it doesn't quite live up to how we remember it. I still enjoy it though, did you ever watch the final act? It feels a little rushed, but at least the series finally got an ending.

lol yeah i kinda guessed u meant adult gohan... hard to imagine the gohan version we see in the first episode of dbz ...
I'm glad u didn't mention details about the super episode! I've yet to even get started on Super. I was waiting for the funimation dub, and will start soon :)

Yeah, i think nostalgia is definitely a big factor! I never got around to seeing Inuyasha beyond volume 4/season 2. Would you recommend going the whole way?

There are definitely better shounens out there but its a pretty solid show. If you enjoyed the first two seasons, they you will probably like the rest of it.

Oh, and for super I would recommend skipping the first two arcs. They are just a rehash of the new dragon ball movies. The movies have better animation, and are overall more enjoyable. Super can leave a bad taste in your mouth, but once you get into the original content it gets really good. The newest arc might even be better then dragon ball z. Of course it might just seam that way because its new. Either way its highly enjoyable.

That's good enough for me :) I'll finish Inuyasha then! And yeah, I had heard that Super starts with the movies content first... I'll do as you say and start from the new arcs :) Thanks mate
