So here's the deal: like an amateur I typed an entire post, tried to copy it from this window to a notepad, screwed something up royally, and lost the entire post.

Tonight you don't get flowery words.

Tonight you get a list.

-I just moved back in with my parents after being "independent" for just shy of ten years.
-I have a degree in Creative Writing.
-I married the first boy I ever fell in love with
-I had kids
-I had jobs that didn't use my degree (shocking).
-I struggle(d) with depression.
-I struggled with other people's demons.
-I made mistakes
-I hurt people
-I finally made a point to put myself first, even if only briefly
-I turned my entire world upside down before setting it on fire and then running over it in a vehicle with snow chains on its tires.
-I started writing again.
-I am still married, though just legally.
-I am trying to love myself
-I struggle with mild body dysmorphia.
-I have no filter
-I love snapchat filters.
(It is presently thundering outside in a way that I haven't heard in ages. The album I put on to write to just ended. I can't believe how long these thunder rolls are.)
-I use too many words
-I have some tattoos

There's more, of course, there always is. But that will be revealed in bits and pieces. Tangential Rants. Journal entries. Short stories. Poems and Pictures.

Tonight is about getting into the habit.
Building momentum.
Doing the thing so that I will continue to do the thing.
