Hello steemit. :)steemCreated with Sketch.

I wanted to wait before I did this introduceyourself post. I see it is generally something steemit users do for a first post.

I am the type that really would have a rough time introducing myself to a crowd before I got a taste/feel of who the crowd is. Also, I've already posted things, so those interested can check it out and get to know me truly and how I will write and share to steemit.

I've spent a week here, and I guess I probably have a lot to say about the community, maybe more about the community than myself. We'll see how this turns out. I normally just let my fingers do their thing and I just check out ;) Or, something inside me checks out.

I like to write and play with words, that's at least the person I'm introducing to this community. I have published work, mostly self published. I work on several pen names and kind of take it easy with this whole authorhood thing. I'm sure in time I'll figure out what I'm doing, and probably run with it for the long haul.

I absolutely love science and philosophy. I believe in divinity, and creativity is the expression of it.

So far, I'm enjoying my stay and I'll be here for a very long time. Already decided to build steempower instead of payouts. So, I'll write good content, try to keep my mouth shut about the poor content I see around making dough.

ahh, comes the inspiration... I'm getting into character now...

I see you posting your post, I'm sorry it's not much more than toast.
you might have even burnt it, I'm glad you didn't boast, then I'd have to roast.
Because honestly I think your content looks even gross, take another dose,
or dip into to your wallet, I'm gonna call it.
Some of this content in the trending page is shit.

Eyah... I'm going to stop that now.

I like that there is so much respect in this community. I'm definitely going to learn a lot from that. I'm a respectful person, but it's not always me. I swear it's not always me.
Creative people just let go from time to time, and the possession takes over. Some people call it a muse, I call it an evil demon >:]

We all have one, I suppose, it depends on how much we feed it? Who knows.

So far I really like steemit. The incentive to create, comment and be respectful is going to make this last. I see and read the community talks about how some feel this community will eventually have its downfall. I honestly don't believe that. At all

Steemit will never fall. It will change, it may migrate, we may even witness it during mitosis. But this will never die.
I was watching how STEEM jumped when facebook got hit last week.

Anway. I suppose, more about me.

Sometimes troubled and perhaps partially insane. Though truly, I'm really all about these letters and words. I speak more than one language, and I've lived in different parts of the world. Been away from my home country for half my life and I plan on traveling with my soulmate for the next ten years; here and there -- places we've never been before.

I've probably experienced enough life (some call it shit) to triple my "real" age. And I hope it all comes out in my writing.
I will post stupid things from time to time, because I've dropped facebook now, and I plan on using steemit like I used facebook before. It will not only be a place where I drop some real great content, I will also be silly, stupid and funny.

Currently, I'm re-working one of my gems, a universe in Sci-Fi/Fantasy, and I want to put it all here on steemit instead of publishing it. This universe, with the main character Tanis, is gigantic, and I hope eventually people will be inspired to write from it. The dynamics of the universe are rather complicated, though you won't catch any of my written work being complicated. My muse is excellent in delivering content for a large spectrum of people. And though I may write a lot sometimes, I promise it's worth the read.

Furthermore,
I plan on sharing a lot of life experience, some really deep things; shocking, unpolitical, political, philosophical, sad and some of it might even make you mad. I'll risk it, because, I plan on sticking with steemit for years and years.

I would like to thank the followers I already have, I really appreciate @curie visit to my page as well. When I learned what @curie was, I really understood steemit is here to take over.

I hope to entertain you all. Because, entertaining others is how I entertain myself.

I'd end this post with something but, I figure... This is just the start; there's no ending.

Hey, welcome and let me just say I love your writing :) Is the Chronicles of Tanis written for Steemit, or did you publish it already?
Also, I have to add that Curie is not a bot, it's a community made of many (human) curators, who look for high quality posts, and reward them.

Keep on the good work!

Hi @tamacvet!

Thank you :)
I have published written work within The Chronicles of Tanis universe. I recently took all that down though so it will be exclusive for steemit. I have a royalty share on one of the novels in audio form though. I cannot take that down. Well, in 5 years I can. 7 year contract :s

COT is such a vast universe that I really just want to build a fanbase for it and let people write in it. I want to see it grow beyond my creative hand. So I guess you can say I think it is pretty good.
COT spans beyond Sci-Fi. The universe allows an exciting mystical realm of Fantasy as well. Next week in chapter 7 or maybe 8 you'll see what I mean when I start to unravel earth's ancient history and most ancient civilizations within COT.

Okay, thanks for clarifying @curie. What's the best way to support the curie community?

You are already in so i do not need to say welcome but i can say that you should keep doing what you love doing best to help the community and you will be great for just being you. Keep up the good work.

Thank you @hugegene10 :)
