BABEL WITHOUT BORDIERS/BABEL SIN FRONTERAS

Is a project created and produced by Jorge Estrada. (Mexico) @jorgebit. Since its foundation, (2008) has pursued very specific goals through cultural diversity and collaboration between countries, under the premise "THE CULTURE TO THE REACH OF ALL". Our main goal to date has been to support cultural, educational, social and humanitarian projects; Through the collection of donations to the compilation albums that have been distributed freely through the network and in which have participated a large number of composers and visual artists who have lent their work, To achieve such objectives.

We published and distributed free 5 compilation albums and one single, in which composers from different countries have participated since 2008.

*We collaborated with UNESCO at the 2010 WORLD YOUTH CONFERENCE, Held in León, Gto. Mexico. With two visual documents about "Intangible cultural heritage" & "The heritage of humanity in young hands".


In 2010, the collective BABEL SIN FRONTERAS VISUAL ARTISTS was born in Poland, under the direction of Jerzy Waykowsky, who brings together a considerable number of artists from different countries who have collaborated with us since 2010.

We´ve organized the BABEL SIN FRONTERAS (Nomada-Babel) festival between Mexico, Poland and Spain, in which we include concerts, exhibitions, conferences, theater functions to collect food and clothing for the marginalized areas of León, Gto. Mexico.

In 2012 we participated in the "Collective reading of poetry by Juárez" summoned by the group of poets of Bilbao, Spain. Gathering poets from 144 cities, 25 countries on 4 continents; Recalling the dead women in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. Mx. And expressing our repudiation of femicides throughout the world.


We collaborated with the group "Free artists for Gaza", in the edition and distribution of the album "SAVE GAZA COMPILATION" for the fundraising for the children of Gaza in the year 2014.
We produced podcast and videos, pages and blogs for the dissemination of the work of the artists participating in the project Babel without Borders.

Now is the time to start a new stage, with new proposals, new challenges. Of course, with the participation of the steemien community; We can achieve the objectives of our project.
