A vision:
An ark, and within the ark a ladder, and at the top of the ladder the truth; and in the truth an ark, and within that ark a ladder, and at the top of that ladder the truth; and within that truth an ark... and so on...
What is this?
I suspect we have taught ourselves to call our blindness and smallness sight and greatness, pointing to the power we have as proof.
