Soy estudiante de Medicina de la ilustre Universidad de Carabobo, formando parte de la Ciudad Hospitalaria Dr. Enrique Tejera. Llegue a Steemit gracias a mi novio, quien poco a poco ha ido conociendo sobre este mundo de las criptomonedas y me ha contagiado su interes, por lo que Steemit me llamo mucho la atención. Me parece que es un medio super cool para compartir información y estar conectados.

Hello!! My name is Barbara Verdecchia, I'm 22 years old and I'm from Valencia, Venezuela.
I am medical student of the University of Carabobo. I arrived at Steemit thanks to my boyfriend, who has gradually got to know about this world of the cryptocurrency and it has passed his interest to me. I think it's a very cool way to share information and stay connected.

Espero ir aprendiendo cada vez mas acerca de esta comunidad y me encantaria compartir con ustedes ciertas experiencias que, a mi corta edad, he tenido que afrontar. En el 2015 fui diagnosticada con una enfermedad autoinnmune llamada Esclerosis Mútiple.Si. Se escucha como algo complicado y difícil de entender. Sé que la mayoría se preguntará que es, con que se come eso? 🤔🤔 jaja pues aquí estoy yo para contarles!🤓 No es algo de lo que me avergüence ❌. Desearía que ustedes, familia, amigos, conocidos y los no tanto.. Sepan que no hablo de ello para la compasión, simpatía o llamar la atención. Lo hablo y hablare de ello porque quiera o no, forma parte de mi vida y mi ser. Hablaré de ella porque quiero ser VOZ🗣, quiero ayudar a otras personas que como yo luchan con los mismos obstáculos y tienen miedo. Lo hago para INFORMAR. Para EDUCAR. Para EXPLICAR. No para ser digna de lastima o juzgada. En Venezuela 🇻🇪, es muy poca la información que se maneja con respecto a este tema y si le sumamos la situación actual que estamos viviendo, pues se complica mas. La EM por definición es una enf. Crónica desmielinizante autoinmune. WHAT??? 😳😐 se que muchos quedaron así.. Calma.🙌🏼Poco a poco les iré contando más! Ella es invisiblee 👻👻👻 , nadie me ve con cara de enferma, cierto? 😷🤒🤕 a ella le gusta su privacidad y mantenerse solo dentro de mí para que yo solita la sienta y sepa que está ahí 🙄💕 NO TIENE CURA, TODAVÍA!!! Solo todavía ⏳⌛(si hay tratamiento que la mantenga sin progresar) por eso estoy aquí, quiero crear conciencia, ella existe! Muchos la vivimos y pocos saben que existe.
Quiero que la conozcan y sepan que aunque un médico te diga que tienes xs cosa, o un estudio te reporte tal otra cosa, y creas que ese es el fin de tu vida, TE EQUIVOCAS. Se puede vivir con una enfermedad (según la ciencia)sin estar enfermo? Yesssss. Si se puede. Tú lo decides y ese poder lo llevas en la mente y el corazón.

I hope to learn more and more about this community and I would love to share with you certain experiences that, at my young age, I have had to face. In 2015 I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Multiple Sclerosis. It sounds like something complicated and difficult to understand. I know most will wonder what it is, what do you eat that with? 🤔🤔 haha, here I am to tell you! 🤓 It is not something that embarrasses me. I wish you, family, friends, acquaintances and not so much .. Know that I do not talk about it for compassion, sympathy or attention. I talk about it because I want to or not, it is part of my life and my being. I will talk about it because I want to be VOICE🗣, I want to help other people who like me struggle with the same obstacles and are afraid. I do it to INFORM. To EDUCATE. To explain. Not to be worthy of pity or judgment. In Venezuela 🇻🇪, there is very little information that is handled with respect to this topic and if we add the current situation that we are living, it is more complicated. MS by definition is an Autoimmune disease WHAT?? 😳😐 I know that many were like this .. Calm.🙌🏼 Little by little I will tell you more! She is invisible, no one sees me with a sick face, right? 😷🤒🤕 she likes her privacy and stay alone inside of me so that I alone feel it and know that it is there 🙄💕 DO NOT HAVE CURE, STILL !!! Only still ⏳⌛ ( there is treatment that will keep it without progress) so I am here, I want to raise awareness, it exists! Many live it and few know it exists.
I want you to know it and know that even if a doctor tells you that you have something, or a study reports it, and you think that is the end of your life, YOU are WRONG. Can you live with an illness (according to science) without being sick? Yesssss. Yes you can. You decide it and that power you carry in your mind and heart.
