Hey @okoyeobinna, firstly yes you are certainly welcome here! You are entitled to be here - nobody is the BOSS and nobody can kick you off, this is the nature of a decentralised platform my friend :D
Your poem has a lot of feeling in it - powerful stuff emotions! I guess 30% Mavro is an ice-cream or something! :D .....also nice photo of you, looks like there's someone taking a pee in the background by the tree lol.
A few words of advice if I may:
- you write poems and you say you like writing. This is a great start and I would focus on producing original and creative output. You could also, for example, write about different aspects of your life - even if it seems ordinary to you, you can present it in an interesting manner to people all over the world who don't know what it is like to be you.....no?
- be sure of why you are here - is it the money? There is a lot of pressure that people in Steemit take on regarding trying to make crypto-currency. You will see lots of people who make big bucks on posts and you may wonder what the secret is. You can go down that route trying to figure it out, but, in my opinion, you will sacrifice creativity and will probably get stressed and frustrated. On the other hand, if you can just focus on expressing yourself genuinely - write your own stuff, everything else will follow and you will not only get there (wherever that is :), but you will also have much more fun. Sure keep an eye on the money - that's fun too - but let it not be the primary motivator for what you do or say on this platform!
- presentation helps a lot too - get the grammar and spelling through a checker if you can, and good use of images certainly helps - there are free sites for images like pexels.com or pixabay.com, just make sure to source-reference any you use.
So, chill, take it easy and have a look around. It is a very good idea to comment on posts that you find interesting - don't just say what a great post - tell the person what you like about it and how it makes you feel and what your ideas and opinions are about it - don't be shy, this will get easier as you do it more often. This way, you will make friends and gain exposure and will naturally attract people to your blog. You will also find that, unlike Youtube, the pitch of the conversation is usually open and respectful - very little trolling and abuse - so even less need to be defensive 🔆
Ok? Good luck with your studies (I had to look up Federal university of Technology Minna on Google maps to see where you are writing from), and good luck on Steemit!
🚣
Thank you so much sir. I really appreciate
