The Girl Behind the Posts + A Little Bit More - #IntroduceYourself

Merely a month ago I signed up to be part of the Steemit community. And I can honestly say, it is one of the best platforms I have ever joined!

I used to find myself mindlessly scrolling through social media and other online apps. Most of the time, not even registering what I was looking at – just wasting away the time scroll by scroll. Now I find myself enjoying my explorations in the Steemit world.

I decided it’s about time I introduce myself and give you a small glimpse in to the life of @bekahluu by answering a few random questions.

Where am I from?

I was born & raised in the beautiful country of New Zealand. My family made the move to Australia in my High School Years, where I have been living ever since. I do consider both home, but I'll always be a Kiwi Kid :)

What's a hobby of mine?

Whilst I am guilty of abandoning it for quite some time, I do have an acoustic guitar, which I am still in the early stages of learning. And yes, I’m a lefty!

What is one of my fears?

Pylons. Yeup, you read that right. Those tower-like metal structures used for electricity. And while I have adapted to phasing them out from a distance, there’s just something about that eerie humming and being in close proximity (especially at night) that makes my stomach drop.

Favourite food?

Tough question. I have many. But, I will probably always answer this one with my go-to… Sushi!

But a good burger & chips never goes astray!

What do I aspire to achieve?

My main goal at the moment is to travel. Besides going between my homes (NZ & Aus), I have not yet released my inner travel bug. I want to see the world, discover new places and feed that hunger for something entirely new.
