My long awaited introductory post

Hello friends,

My name is Biria-keswa Lapota. I'm originally from Chad but have spent a reasonable part of my life in Keffi (border between Nasarawa and Abuja, Nigeria. Born by a Chadian father and a Nigerian mother; and also blessed with a twin brother named Jemilu and a lovely sister Jemila.

Growing up was quite interesting and fun contrary to the much talked about unrest and insecurity issues in the nothern region. I grew up in a military immersed environment in the Army Barrack Keffi, until the translation of my beloved dad in 2005, where we were relieved of resident-ship. Until his demise he was lieutinant colonel.

Academically, after a rough run in food engineering at the university of Abuja, I switched to a more practical course, Nutrition and Dietetics to parallel my career as a full time cook. I'm not necessarily a foodie regarding my chubby look, but good food is a priory.

I'm 22 years old, fair in complexion, averagely tall and chubby. I share a bit of both introvert and extrovert traits. I do well with gay(excited) spirited people, positive minded folks, compassionate people. I have an deep crush for tall guys and traveling has never been my thing that why I love to keep old friends much as I welcome new ones. Music is my body and soul. I'm a christian and respect everyone's denomination

I got to know about this one-big family called Steemit from a colleague in school after too many rounds of conviction to give it a try, and that's why i'm here. At this point , I'd like to solicit everyone s support and love in anyway possible to make this decision unforgettable.

May I not forget my bosom friend @ivanlager whom I met sometime ago at the Abuja carnival, who in the midst of friends I have stuck to as a confident and as a 'friend indeed,' for creating this awareness for me. Thank you dearest. I'd also like to thank every Steemians for the love and support in subsequent postings and wish you all a happy new year in advance.
