Kick-Starting as a Steemian: My first blogpost

I just got accepted and I learnt that for my first blog post, I need to #introducemyself as per the tradition, and this has got me really nervous . over the years, one of the most difficult things i've found doing is introducing myself. I find myself asking these questions; what is it about me that I need to tell, where would I start from, What should I tell them, etc. And often times i would blab everything over and at the end I will ask, did it make any sense to you? (LOL) and somehow, to my supposedly gibberish, I get an ''awesome'' as against what I had concluded in my mind it would be.
so, lets see how it goes...
my name is Blessing M. Akpan. And please, the 'M' there stands for ''Michael'' some friends have actually been filling it up with 'Mohammed'. I am a Nigerian and precisely Akwa Ibomite. I live in the South-Southern part of the country which has a wide range of mouth-watery cuisine. Our tourist sites here are explicit, one of such tourists sites is the Ibeno beach. It is our longest sand beach and it is bounded in the South by the Atlantic ocean. it is also said to be the longest beach in West Africa.

I am 20 years old, although most people think i'm still a teenager judging from my stature. I was born in September, 24th 1997 into a Christian family, and my Dad... a Clergy. And what am I, Precher's kid right? that sounds good.
To add to that, I'm a high school leaver yet to proceed to the higher institution, but meanwhile, i am currently volunteering in an NGO to better the lives of Widows and vulnerable segment in my community. I love to serve.

I guess you would like to know what interests me and a little more of what i do when i'm not in the community speaking to the youths and building capacity of the widows. I write; Poems, Articles, Inspirational Quotes, etc. I express myself through writing. And recently, I decided to try something new. Yes, I started learning how to code.Believe me, it is one of the hardest thing have ever tried in my life, but I will not give up. I love tech, I long to use my knowledge to solve problems in my society. And I believe the future of my Country, Nigeria, Africa and the world at large is in tech.

And just a little more; i'm very inquisitive, I love to learn, I love talking, I love smiling, I love God and most importantly, I love being me.
