Giggity, Giggity, It's Me...

So this is my introduce me post. I'd rather be weeding the bean patch, but it's dark, and raining, so I'm here, typing. Clickty clack, clickity clack.

I'm a fledgling libertarian, but an avid gardener, homesteader, DIY'er - whatever you want to call it. I went to school for Environmental Studies (Liberal Arts Score!)and to get my teaching certification. I actually taught for a couple of years before my wife and I decided that she would work and I would stay home with the children. (More-or-less a wage thing.) Well, the children aged, and after my son's first year of public school we decided that maybe public school wasn't something we wanted to do; and three years later we're still homeschooling. Meanwhile, the garden was growing, and we were becoming more and more self-sufficient.

I run a low-traffic blog Liberty Minded Agrarian that discusses the ideals of liberty through a lens of environmental appreciation, along with random homesteading tips and homeschooling rants. I hope to share the victories and freedoms that gardening and self-sufficiency provide as well as commentary of current environmental issues with a liberty based lens. And who knows, maybe I'll eventually get that podcast up and running...
