Introducing myself

in introduceyourself •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hey, everyone. I'm an American ESL teacher living in Bulgaria. I moved here 26 years ago as a Peace Corps volunteer. Although I also give private lessons, my main employer is the St. Cyril and St. Methodius Foundation. I also edit for the http://www.freemanpost.com/ and Tavex's Golden Times trade journal (both mostly concerning politics and economics). In my free time, I write lyrics for various bands, including Urban Grey, and enjoy photography. MMBI: INFP. Political leanings: Libertarian. https://www.facebook.com/sanders.brent https://www.instagram.com/mistertomjoad/

Welcome to steemit, Brent! I'm going to Sofia in July and I'm all ears about what you can publish about Bulgaria and life and tips there :)

@herverisson It would be nice to meet for a beer once you're here! Bulgarian is awesome, as you will soon find out for yourself. You might want to pick up a phrasebook before you come, but you'll still find plenty of English speakers.
