Followed you back as well. Basically, curation is all about finding the potentially most rewarding posts and upvote them before everyone else does.
The Steem blockchain protocol does have some reward payout functions with multiple variables, therefore making it a more challenging endeavor.
What we do also involves manual curation and resteeming/sharing of top quality posts in order to get talented new authors discovered on Steem and on social media, therefore helping the whole Steem community.
