Welcome to Steemit community. I'm also new to the community as well.
I'd like to give some tips to start with.
Don't do copy and paste. Stop trying to be like someone but instead find out what what interest you most.
Give yourself grace. Be patient; it takes time to find your interest.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
