En este mi post inicial quiero compartir con ustedes una actividad que en la actualidad tengo como pasatiempo. Pero sin embargo, espero en el futuro pueda abordarla como actividad lucrativa. Se trata de la cría de abejas.
en esta imagen se puede apreciar una pequeña abeja sin aguijón o abeja melipona de la especie Melipona Favosa. Cumpliendo funciones de centinela. Esta abejita es conocida acá en el país como: rabipinta, Erica o Arica; esta colmenita se encuentra en el tronco de un árbol de aguacates en el jardín de mi casa.
En la imagen a continuación se aprecia una colmena en cajón de madera y corresponde a una colmena de abejas africanizadas o abejas asesinas, de la especie Apis Melifera. Al igual que la anterior esta colmena la tengo en el jardín de mi casa
