Hurray-Wow!!! end of my first week at steem (test week), fired up and ready to go!!!! Made lots of great friends, 80+ followers and following even more because I feel great and loved!!! Infact I feel like the baby on my picture (a beauty isn’t it)
I joined steem one week ago after watching promotional videos from these two great gentlemen @Craig-grant and @trevonjb. Initially I was skeptical due to my tight schedule managing a foundation and a crowdfunding company based in Bavaria Germany. However, after waiting almost 4 long days to get approved (why so long?) , I finally posted my first post which was a disaster -however my reason for joining is not about popularity(I do not know a single whale in fact I am as little as the little fish nemo however more motivated than a big whale: Fired up!!!!
One week at Steem: What makes Steem Unique
Steem is unique because of you guys : its members distinctive qualities of always ready to help everyone (including new members like me) upvote , comment and resteem a small fish post in order for him or her to grow as a whale (one sweet day).
Steem is unique because it complements all the limitations of facebook (Monopoly) and twitter and allow the common man to make decent money on their post and thus take care of their bills.
Steem is unique because of the beautiful pictures, poems, health tips, amazing food and crypto tips posted daily on its platform which makes my day more interesting.
Steem is unique because of the community like (family) relationship its members are enjoy. Because we know that we are in this together in the long run, we have to help one another to grow in fact its like a symbiosis relationship : one for all-all for one!!!

Hey @charles1! Steem is unique, and it is just beginning really! So many new people on here this spring it is about to take off. Which means people that choose to engage others and build community is more important now then ever. I have see some really cool apps and developments coming to the Steem world soon and there are already so many I have yet to discover. Unlike other social media Steem has so many possibilities yet and it is the community which is the driving force behind this! Keep discovering this unique little world, I have been checking it out for a month and barely scratched the surface. Good luck and keep swimming!
